An excellent watch, Very large size but that was what I was looking for. Connects well and the LTE side works flawlessly. The only downside is I wish battery lasted longer. Only able to get a little over 24 hours on it before needing a recharge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming from the excellent Watch 5 Pro, the Watch Ultra is a significant step backward. I expected an upgrade but found baffling regressions that impact daily use. Loss of Phone Charging (PowerShare): The inability to charge the watch with my S25's reverse wireless charging is a massive flaw. Due to a new design, it no longer works, forcing me to carry a separate charger. This is a major failure for the Samsung ecosystem and incredibly inconvenient. Worse Battery Life, Even with Compromises: My Watch 5 Pro lasted nearly 3 full days. The Watch Ultra barely makes it 2, even after I switched to a basic static face to save power. This is a significant real-world downgrade. Removed Core Functionality: Simple features I used daily on the Watch 5 Pro, like covering the screen with my palm to turn it off, have been removed. Losing these functions makes the watch feel less intuitive. Hassle for Health Monitoring: Advertising BP monitoring but requiring users to find third-party apps to enable it is unacceptable. A core health feature shouldn't require a workaround. An in-app disclaimer would be a much better user experience. I feel I didn't get what I paid for. I miss the reliability and thoughtful design of my Watch 5 Pro and hope Samsung reconsiders these regressions.

To use your palm to shut off your screen, ensure the feature is enabled in the watch's settings. Then, cover the entire watch face with your palm and touch the screen to activate Always On Display (AOD), which may show a simplified watch face or just time, depending on your settings. The Galaxy Watch Ultra does not offer the blood pressure monitoring feature in the U.S. due to the lack of FDA approval.
