[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch Ultra is Samsung's rugged flagship, built from titanium and sapphire glass to military standards for durability. Its standout feature is the massive battery, offering up to 100 hours in power-saving mode, paired with a blazing-bright 3,000-nit display and a new, faster 3nm processor. Designed for athletes and adventurers, it boasts dual-frequency GPS, 10ATM water resistance, and a customizable Quick Button for instant workout tracking. Galaxy AI enhances health monitoring, providing an "Energy Score" based on sleep and activity. While bulky for some wrists and lacking the classic rotating bezel, the Ultra delivers the most powerful and enduring Wear OS experience to date.
It does a ton and has been extremely useful. I hate having to charge it every day or every other. My s3 lasted a week or so. Its the price we pay for innovation though. Definitely worth the upgrade.
As usual, the legacy issues of the previous version of the watch remains. It still REFUSES to have the dial stay on for a minute. 5 seconds is the norm, no matter what you set it at. At times it goes wacky haywire and seems to sort itself out. lastly the dismal battery life. Awful. When responding Samsung, I am tired of your AI canned responses, so don't bother if that is what you will respond with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there RMD77, We're grateful for the time and effort you put into sharing your feedback with us about your experience using the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. If you dial does not remain on, it may be due to your settings. The Always On Display (AOD) could be turned off. Please enable AOD in the watch's quick panel or the Galaxy Wearable app, ensure the watch is on your wrist (as the sensor needs to be in contact with skin), and disable features like Goodnight or Theater mode. The Galaxy Watch Ultra battery offers up to 100 hours in Power saving mode, up to 60 hours without Power Saving mode, and up to 48 hours in Exercise power saving mode. If you're experiencing less than anticipated battery life, please take a moment to check out "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to learn what factors may be impacting the life of your device. If you would like further assistance afterward, reach out to Samsung Support. We're always happy to assist. Thanks for being a loyal Samsung customer. - Debra (Not AI)
