[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I MUCH like the Galaxy Watch Ultra 25. It truly shines with what it is and the very many things it does reliably well.
The only notable disappointment for me has been unreliable sleep tracking. It does function but most of the time is 1-4 hours slow at noticing I'm asleep.
I have tried all manner of suggestions from Samsung online and other online sources to try to obtain more reliable sleep tracking.
Things like cleaning the sensor, wearing the watch tight 2 fingers above the wrist bone, having sleep mode activated, listing target sleep hours in Samsung Health, running the watch overnight with always on display as suggested alternate to keep it from less functional state, turning power saving on to wait a bit before turning it off, rebooting the watch and setting heart rate to continuous.
I also tried leaving Samsung Health running all night on my phone. Cleared the app cache before doing that too.
None of those or combinations of those corrected the failing sleep tracking for at least 3/4 of nights.
This brings sleep scores mosly considerably less than 50%, sometimes down into single digits. Such low sleep scores also impact the daily energy score.
I do hope sleep tracking with the Galaxy Watch Ultra might soon improve with a firmware update. It is a meaningful to me watch feature and being unreliable tarnishes my view of this device which does everything else (maybe 100 other things) exceedingly well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I had to sum up my experience with the Samsung Galaxy Watch, it would be simple: I absolutely love everything about it. From the moment it hits your wrist, it feels like the perfect blend of smart tech, sleek design, and everyday usefulness.
Design That Just Feels Right The watch looks and feels premium — whether you’re wearing it to the gym, to work, or out for the night. The screen is bright and crisp, the interface is smooth, and the customizable faces make it feel like your watch, not just a gadget.
Health & Fitness Features That Actually Help One of the things I love most is how effortlessly it keeps me on track. - Heart rate monitoring is accurate and reliable. - Sleep tracking gives insights that actually make sense. - Workout detection kicks in automatically, so I never miss a session.
It’s like having a personal coach on your wrist — but one that doesn’t nag.
Battery Life That Doesn’t Stress You Out Depending on the model, the battery easily lasts a full day or more, even with heavy use. Fast charging means you’re never stuck waiting around.
Seamless Samsung Ecosystem Integration If you’re already using a Samsung phone, the watch feels like an extension of it. Notifications, calls, messages — everything syncs beautifully. It’s smooth, intuitive, and genuinely use
