Great TV lousy, useless remote.

The LG TV Model OLED65C6PUA has a wonderful, bright, colorful display. I would have given it a 5 star rating except for one little, very important thing. The totally useless for me, the remote. First there were no written directions on how to use it. The directions are on the TV, but since I can't use the remote because of my tremors, those directions are useless. Just try to use the remote while someone holds your wrist and shakes your hand.

It's bright and huge

Outstanding picture with smart Ai

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is outstanding on this tv. It’s crisp and clear. The standard setting was a little too bright for my 50 year old eyes, but you can easily customize the picture mode for contrast, color, and vibrancy. Set up was easy but you need two people for lifting the tv. I was nervous about the center base support but it seems really sturdy. If you are not tech savvy, the smart platform dashboard can be a little overwhelming with so many options. I recommend setting up the quick settings menu for faster access to your favorite apps. My previous tv had a lot of glare in the daytime, and I’m not seeing much with this tv. The LG channels are great and you really don’t need cable. Im really happy with this TV and glad I got it. There are so many options and I learn something new each day. This review was submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.

Ai sound pro

The AI sound pro setting is terrible. When using it, there is a soft muffled drum beat in the background of sound. I hope this can be fixed with software updates.

Wonderful picture!

Wonderful picture! The colors are vivid, bright and true. Sound quality also very good so I won't be adding speakers. Magic Wand takes a little getting used to as a cursor but can make for quick action once you get used to it. The other settings on the remote are quite helpful for sound control, returning to previous channel or to home.
My only two disappointments: The instruction manual is only good for setting up the tv stand. There are few instructions for operation of the tv. You have to download the online manual for that. When spending over a thousand dollars on a tv, I'd expect to get a written manual out of the box. It's easier to flip through pages using a good index at the front than to have to boot up a computer, download and then scroll. Out a thorough manual in the box!
I'm also disappointed that we can't load regional sports apps. I live in New England and can't get NESN on my LG tv! Now I have to boot it up on my laptop and then cast it to the tv. Not the smoothest.
Overall though, I love the quality of the C6.

The color, contrast, brightness is amazing. The downside is the tutorial and lack of screen instructions when initially setting up. A "display name"??? I'm not aware I have one.

Great TV, Slow UI

The display is amazing with great color and brightness. Very happy with how the display preforms. Lose 1 star for the slowness of the UI. When opening apps the screen takes time to load which I do not expect at the premium price of this TV.
