I upgraded to the 2 TB SN850X from a same-sized PCIe 3.0 SSD from another vendor that used QLC flash. I thought that any modern SSD is fast enough by any reasonable standard, but I actually noticed a big difference launching programs, installing games, and transferring files to/from my NAS. My old drive would get bogged down and show high latency in Task Manager, while this model blows through everything. The heatsink is nice since I’ve had issues getting 3rd party heatsinks to attach securely and stay attached, their elastics would melt over time with heat. That said, I had to remove the motherboard’s included heatsink and do some mechanical finagling.

Hands down the fastest PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD I've tried to date. Load times are basically nonexistent, would not hesitate to purchase again. If you're building a new gaming rig and want the best of the best, this is it.

This SN850X SSD 2TB gaming drive with heatsink is great . It fit right in my PS5 with no issues. I will be buying another one just like this one if or when I have too. I would recommend this to everyone if you own a PS5 and want to play right the SSD momory card. It was easy to use, and it popped right in place and works excellent!
