I've been a Windows user all my life, and I was a bit unsure about whether to switch to a Mac or get a new Windows laptop. Buying the MacBook Pro was the best choice I made; it's simply incredible. I work with 3D rendering and microtomography, and the M2 Pro chip provides me with more performance than my old Acer Predator Triton 300 SE with a dedicated graphics chip. This laptop is worth every penny.

MacBook Pro M2

The laptop works very well. I'm learning the basics of working with a Macbook. The salesperson in Saskatoon, "Prisha" was very helpful and working with me to understand the Macbook. Geek squad set it up for me since I bought the support package. They couldn't load the 1 terabyte onto it , the system was not working. I need to bring it back to install. Geek squad was helpful and easy to work with.

Beast of a machine but pricey!

The MacBook Pro 14 inch continues Apple's tradition of powerful professional laptops. However, the price continues to climb with each generation, making this an expensive purchase.
The Touch Bar has finally been replaced with standard function keys. While controversial, I personally liked the Touch Bar on my previous MacBook Pro. Its removal is understandable to gain more physical ports and connectivity options.
Touch ID remains a convenient feature. And the speakers are a major improvement over the tinny speakers on the first M1 MacBook Pro, providing much better volume and audio quality.
This laptop is certainly not lightweight. At 3 pounds, it is heavier than most 13 inch laptops. However, it is more manageable than the 16 inch MacBook Pro.
The return of MagSafe charging is a nice touch after being absent on the M1 MacBook Pro. And the 14 inch screen, while not a huge increase, provides a noticeably larger workspace.
As usual, the Apple silicon M2 processor provides outstanding performance and battery life. All in all, while expensive, the MacBook Pro 14 inch continues to set the benchmark for professional laptops, delivering powerful performance in a portable yet substantial design.
