I have this solo for 1 hear and 3 month. The sounds quality is pretty good and the design is nice. However, I wanted to use this headphone to be able to do some calls but all my callers were complaining about the surrounding noise. I definitely not recommend to use this headphone for this kind of use. Then, 1 year and 3 month later, on side of this headphone is simply not working anymore. The quality is really poor. I would not recommend to buy this headphone and I regretted doing so.
I’ve had the headphones for just over a year. They were my second pair of Solo beats. I bought them to replace a wired pair. Usually love the beats sound and quality, but now they won’t turn on. Seem to be taking a charge when plugged in, but will not turn on or pair anymore. Let down as my previous pair lasted for several years with no issue.
These headphones are overpriced! They sound amazing but are built terribly. I've had three pairs. Two of them broke. The ear cushion came off one pair and the band snapped on the other pair. But at least it wasn't difficult to replace them either through Apple or Best Buy. Buy the warranty if you do get a pair of these.
After 1 year and 5 days (just outside warranty life) the glue connecting the ear cushions to the hardware came undone and are no longer functional. I called apple to see how much it would cost to fix it, and they quoted me $200 u.s. dollars! I can buy a new pair for $200, shidiots. not like id ever consider buying this expensive junk ever again.
The sound quality is one of the best I've tried, and is still my gold standard. Bass is even, and has good noise cancelling. But they do lose some quality in heavy and loud tones. The feel is great compared to other brands, but after a few hours they do start to hurt the ears. The main issue I had/have is that they have broken on me twice. Same issue. The Bluetooth part will stop functioning correctly after about 6 months, as the right ear cuts out entirely. The wired part has no issues, so I believe there is a hardware issue involving the headphone jack. If you can get them on sale for $150, buy them, but beware as they will stop functioning relatively soon.
Great Sound and Sleek Design, However within a year and a half the battery had completely died. Very disappointing considering their price. Would only recommend with a 2+ year Warranty
