I already had a breast boy I from my first baby. But I was highly recommended to try this pump by a friend. And I love how it doesn’t have cords to fuss with. And you can do one side at a time or both sides. It’s nice and discrete and also quiet. I also highly recommend to friends who want to breast feed/ pump, as its a lot less stressful then normal pumps. Less mess and not wasting as milk with cords and pumps on stings.
I wanted to love this but they just don’t empty me as much as my Medela swing maxi does. The flange inserts make it kinda messy, since the milk does flow freely down. It gets stuck around the insert. The best thing about this is the portable aspect. I like that I can just put them in my bra and be about my day, but again just not getting me empty, which is causing, frequent clogged ducts.
So far, this product has work extremely well. It’s a lot of small parts and was confusing to put back together after the first couple of uses. The instructions weren’t helpful regarding putting the pump together. There are certain pieces that align in certain spots, so carefully analyze before taking the pump apart. Although the pump works well for me, I noticed that one pump is dying faster than the other. The battery life will eventually be a concern for me. Which also makes me concerned for the longevity of the product. Yes, it cheaper than most breast pumps, but I also don’t want to have to purchase one every 3-6 months. I had to use the customer service to change my address, and after a few phone calls, they were nice.
I was super excited to get the momcozy as I’ve been eyeing it for a while! The pump is ok. For some reason there is always one of the pumps that keeps it’s battery life while the other one loses it wayyyy fast (after one pumping session of 20 minutes, battery goes from full charge to one bar). Other than that, it’s practical for on the go.
Love this pump! Exclusively pumping for 11 weeks so far. Started with a cheap generic one and this is much much gentler. Ordered all the way from New Zealand I'm sure there's not many in the country. Better than anything available over here.
