I bought this today not ex[pecting much. I thought it was just a little cheap CD player Boombox but when the sound came it totally surprised me. It has great sound and it is easy to use.

This is an excellent little boombox with clear sound! It is made well and has a nice long electric cord. I like the black,red color too and it was a great buy!

I got this from my husband today for his birthday. He wanted a good radio for his garage and immediately went outside and put it in there turned it on got it to 106.9. It came through clearly and loud like he needed. He really enjoys it.

Decent little radio, with a couple of issues

This is a very nice little boombox. If you're looking for a CD player to play your old discs or just want to listen to the radio, it's worth the money.
That said, it has two issues that make it a little less than perfect:
1. The tuning control really is finicky and takes a little doing to get it to land squarely on the station I'm trying to pick up. Once it's there, it stays, but on today's crowded FM dial, true digital tuning (not analog with a digital display!) would be helpful.
2. The antenna is a thin wire. Why? This is anything but easy to get to stay in one place, unless you tack it to the wall or tape it to a window. Fortunately, I can do both when I take the radio with me, but I ask again: Why?
Today, if you want a portable radio, your choices are either junk, or overpriced. This fits somewhere in the middle, and if it lasts through baseball and football seasons, it will be worth it.
