The laptop itself is fine. Pretty sleek. Quiet keyboard. Fast processing. But the extra features make it so irritating to use. I had to sign up for a Microsoft email just to start using it. It prompts you with so many extra free trials before you can even navigate anywhere. Have to turn off so many “helpful” features and ads just to use the internet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I downsized from a 17" Dell Laptop to the 14.5" Slim 7X and love it! The display is brilliant, and the laptop is so much lighter and slimmer; even though I have twice as much storage. The battery lasts much longer and makes it easy to use anywhere /any time. I have not tried the Co-pilot feature yet, but plan to soon. So far, this laptop is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I wanted something very portable but good on battery. It meets that mark above and beyond. I love the long battery life and the screen is amazing. Very light weight yet solid build. The downside is printer compatibility. The printer companies just don't have drivers out for everything yet. I have a thermal printer I use for shipping labels and no support for it yet. I think this will all work out with time, but for now it's pretty annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part, I would rate the Yoga Slim 7x as 5 stars. There are 2 issues that I am still having that hold it back. 1. Compatibility. My printer manufacturer does not provide a driver for me and I had to switch backup solutions to find one that would work on the ARM64 processor. 2. Getting the PC to wake at night for backups or other processes has been challenging. I am still looking for the right combination that will work.

I found some glitches with the computer. At least I need to reset it once per week, or sometimes it just freezes completely. Also, one app is not running yet under Snapdragon. Maybe I decided to get one too early. I would like has been waiting until the system is more mature.

I never thought an ARM based laptop would be for me, but I gave it a try and boy, am I glad I did. Lenovo always sets the standard in laptops, but I was slightly unsure of purchasing an ARM based machine. In short, the 12 cores are fast, I can run every Windows program I need to run and all in all, it's cool! And I mean cool temperature wise. I've never had a laptop so thermally innocuous and the battery life is amazing. The OLED screen is responsive and beautiful. I can't attest to gaming, but that is not a mission requirement. I was so impressed I purchased a second one for my wife.
