I love this product; it just works, and I love how all the hardware is so premium. The only bad thing is Windows itself. I hate how it messes with the displays and makes the machine slow when I am fully aware the machine is doing nothing and the CPU is barely utilized; it is just like Windows makes the laptop worse in every possible way by taking telemetry data and bothering you at every step. Be careful with Windows machines: perfect hardware, bad software.

I purchased the prior version for my wife’s a computer for her. I had looked for one with the x9 processor and finally found one almost four hours away…and I would happily make that drive again without a second thought. My job consists of paperwork and signatures that are a hassle with one screen, and even more so with no touch capabilities. Being able to go into share mode cuts down so much time, that’s just in office while I’m finishing the rest of the set up for screens. This is going to make outreach so much faster resulting in more people seen. The screen graphics are amazing and I have yet to come across something that has looked bad or made the graphics stutter. The screens might be a little smaller than most look for, but the internals of this make that a true non issue. Plus having the capability to literally flick the screen to another screen takes out the need for click and drag movements. You have the bottom screen running your program for signatures/writing, simply flick it to the top and it rotates for the client to go over and you can bring it back all with hand gestures. I never really thought I would truly recommend a computer for something business wise. But this one I will do until I’m blue in the face given the chance. And if you are into gaming…this will push the vast majority of things on the market and easily let you be competitive in it.

Last year I bought the Zenbook Duo for the first time and I was quite happy with it save for minor issues like scuffing on the case. This new version is a complete redesign and makes last year's version look like a prototype.
I am not going to repeat what major reviewers say about the laptop but rather say that in my day to day this feels much better than before and really just feels like a premium device. From the time I take it out of the bag, to opening it, or just how it looks closed on my desk when attached to an external display.
The keyboard also feels vastly superior - keeping my hands on the wrist rest area feels vastly better than before. Before it felt a bit plasticky, now it feels like a very premium and easy to glide over surface. I wonder what the chemical composition of it is, actually since it feels better than almost any laptop I've had.
Yes, there is a bigger dark area on top of the screen (while the lower one is basically gone), but it's not too bad an I quickly got used to it.
And so far it seems that the ceraluminum coating is more durable, no scratches over 2 weeks yet, but time will tell.
And yes I am writing this review as I will be applying for the 90-day warranty extension, but this is truly just what I think.

I travel almost weekly and I was using a 17 inch for content creation, presentations, and daily work business. I did not relieve how heavy that laptop was till I converted to the Asus Zenbook Duo. The computer is light weight and gives me more screen options than every before.
I have found the computer that I will stay with as long as they continue to make and improve this laptop.

The laptop is close to perfection. I bought lifters for the main computer for venting and ergonomic lifters for the keyboard. The keyboard touch pad is too sensitive and a toggle button to turn it off should be easily accessible to turn it off when not in use.

I am coming from the 2025 32GB UX8406MA-PS99T model. Multitasking is a lot smoother and the throttling and performance that was evident on previous models is no longer present in this UX8407 388H model. I love the sleek design and increased screen real estate when in the vertical position!
