Purchased a two speaker set with the idea of using them for Zoom conferencing.....not possible. Tech support was helpful but said that the speakers One SL was not compatible..
I bought two of the Sonos One SL's to pair in order to get stereo sound in a very large great room with 18' ceilings. I put them about 6' up in the ceiling height bookcases on either side of the fireplace. They were easy to set up, pair, and tune, and I got just what I'd hope for - crisp, clear sound (with plenty of base and high end adjustment in the equalizer function) throughout the open great room, dining area, and kitchen. Love them.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Free Control Options, Superior Sound, Wireless
Sonos has made listening to music an event, which I take part in far more with my two S1SL and Sub. The only downside is the occasional drop off at end and beginning of tracks.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Unreliable, Wireless drop outs, from closer to wifi speaker
What's the best thing I've bought for my kitchen in years....s

I was really skeptical with the whole Alexa/google thing until I got one for my 96 year old blind mother. Once I had seen it in action I had to set up our own home. I was so impressed with the Sonos One that we got Mum, I bought two for our kitchen and absolutely love them! Within a month we bought the Sonos Arc for the TV which was a game changer for me. I thought my hearing was going but that changed when we got the Arc. I find these new TVs have brutal speakers and absolutely need some sort of sound bar. The Arc has some nice features accessible thru your phone/tablet that allow you to set your own custom hearing preferences. Easily increase the dialogue or quiet down the load scenes. Decent equalizer too.

Sonos is it! Don't waste your time on any other brand.

I really like that Sonos is expandable. I originally bought another streaming speaker for the bedroom. It was a brand I trusted that I think actually makes better yogurt! This is a million times better. Like plain yogurt, the other was flat at all volume levels. At night it was all bass and trebles didn't kick on until a daytime listening level. The Sonos has full, immersive sound even at very low volume levels.
Pros: Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
This isn't a 100% glowing review, but I love my Sonos system. I needed a boost to keep from running out of Wi-Fi; I've had some glitches; and there is nothing better in the whole wide world then great sound following me through every room in my house. This is an amazing system and the living curves just a tiny bit steeper than I guessed but it's so worth it.
