My children want to listen to their own music. I love movies and want a better sound experience. Sonos allows us to quickly and easily adapt to any listening needs.

Had a little difficulty setting up the one- sl , because they need software update! But once they were done they added terrific sound to my system, over all excellent sound quality!
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless

just what i wanted

somehow i had yet to invest in a bluetooth speaker, even though i listen to music daily. i don't have any smart devices, so i didn't need one with a microphone for alexa, etc. i live in an open loft, and the tuning is perfect. i stream podcasts, spotify, etc on there. the sound quality is great, and i love the ecofriendly packaging. it has even convinced me to potentially get a soundbar for my tv, and a port for a record player. easy and impressive. only con is that if my phone rings it doesn't alert me through the speaker. i guess that's a good thing, really.

Not sure I would buy these again

I purchased a pair of One SL's to use with my SONOS Beam and Sub woofer. Unfortunately it has been a huge disappointment as the SL's don't turn on automatically when I turn on my TV (The Beam and Sub do but not the SL's). I must manually turn on the SL's for them to work. The incremental sound difference is de minimis.
Pros: Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use them in several rooms as pairs. I use them in several rooms as add one for the beam2 and a surround in another room.

I read some reviews on these speakers prior to purchasing. Some said the sound was not good (shallow) and others complained about heavy bass sounds. I have not found either of these statements to be true. I synced two (2) speakers, configured them for stereo sound, and placed them on top of kitchen cabinets, away from view. At high volumes, they fill the room with all the sound I need and at low volume, they distribute the sounds very nicely. (Am currently waiting for my second pair of the same speakers that I plan to setup in my garage/workshop.) Very happy with the purchase!
