We arranged the SL Ones in a fairly small space, so I had to ask for some "extra ears" to make sure I had the surround sound set up right. Broadcasts make varying use of multi channel audio, so it takes a little work to get used to them.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Needed help to insure I had the right setup.
We purchased the Sonos Arc and Sub for our basement media room. Given the sound quality that we received from these systems we debated, as to whether or not the One SLs would be needed. After speaking with an audio professional who recommended we try them, I splurged. The sound quality during movies is unbelievable. Highly recommended.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Free Control Options, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Besides the fact that it has amazing sound which you would expect for the price tag and the reputation the thing that was most surprising was that it will automatically mute commercials off of YouTube, I can voice text on my phone and it will not interrupt the music. It's smart enough to use the microphone on my phone for phone things and continue to play music. THAT IS AMAZING! Head and shoulders above the rest.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Free Control Options, Streams All My Music, and More
The speakers have nice sound and look good. Even after downloading multiple times and going through the set-up procedure, I cannot control the independent speakers in different rooms from my phone. However, if I am listening to Pandora, I can select the speaker that I want to listen to from the Pandora app. Go figure.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
Cons: App does not control the independent speakers
