DOESN'T SYNC RELIABLY WITH IPHONE

Good sound but unreliable with iPhone for listening to music and podcasts. Lots of problems switching from earbuds to Sonos, or from Sonos app to another app (YouTube, for ex). Constantly necessary to restart app or iPhone. I wish I'd just gotten Apple speakers. Honestly, the frustration and inconvenience aren't worth the sound quality. Can't recommend.
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable

Using with Beam Gen1

Have a Gen 1 beam and got these after my son showed me how much better it sounds with surround speakers. Now I just need to add sub to complete my system

Amazing sound from a speaker that size

I initially bought the Arc and Sub for TV and the sounds was great. Have been looking for a wireless set up for music and after listening to the Five and One SL's decided to take the plunge. After some WiFi hiccups and a new router, it's amazing.
Pros: Expandable, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup

Solid Speaker for What It Is

This is not a speaker for critical listening, but no speaker this size really is. I have 3 use cases in my home: single speaker, stereo setup, and HT rear channels. As a single speaker for background music, the speaker is fine. The speaker is small and unobtrusive. You can get aftermarket shelves that mount to your wall outlets to place the speaker. Great party speaker where you want music flowing thru the house. If you want fully sound, adding a second speaker and setting up for stereo is a great option. I did that in the kitchen and it is much better. The last application is as HT rear channels. In this application, they are disappointing. I plan to get a pair of the Era 300 speakers for rear channels and use these rear channels speakers to add music thru the home. As home background music speakers, I recommend them. As HT rear channels, I would not.

Love the fact that I can start a playlist and walk out of the house with my phone and when I return the Sonos system is still playing the selection I started. This never happened with my Bluetooth devices. They always drop off when I move a little too far away.
