Sounds great, but no love if you're on Android

The sound quality on this small speaker definitely outshines any Google home product. Unfortunately, it integrates very poorly with the Google home ecosystem (apparently the two companies got in a spat and it shows). Direct play from Spotify works, but not asking Google assistant to play music on Spotify (there's some weird Spotify authentication in the Sonos app, on top of Spotify authentication in Google home and it gets really confused). Apparently this is an issue that's been going on for more than a year with no resolution on the forums other than a shrug and 'whatchagonnado?'. A lot of the fine room tuning features are also only available through Apple products. Overall, the hardware is quite nice. Bass is rich for a small speaker, and music is clear. However, I stepped up in cost to sonos since I wanted a nice integrated system and was pretty disappointed on this endpoint.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Android Unfriendly, Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use

2 Ones = nice stereo combo. Add a Sub Mini for bass

I can't see using a One by itself or two or more spread across separate multiple enclosed rooms unless you don't need high volume or bass. In a larger space they will work together nicely and make wonderful stereo pairs. Very clear in the middle and high frequencies but not strong on bass. Adding a Sub or Sub Mini will fix that. I use paired Ones alongside my TV with a Five on the opposite side of a large open studio apartment with a Sub Mini between them, and all together they fill the space with sound.

Superb sound

No wires except the power cord.My surround sound is complete with the beam , the sub mini and the one SL's.....I'm lovin it !!!

Annoying to set up and not easy to stream audio from my mac

It seems like I needed an app to install an app to get the speakers working.I wish the speakers integrated a little more seamlessly with my Apple products/home. I may return and just get a HomePod.

The sonos one is a great speaker especially if you pair it with stereo. Would like to have a 1000 of them.

Added 2 SL One wireless speakers to existing wired system to get whole-house sound in 2 rooms that were not wired previously. Unbelievable sound from these compact speakers and great addition to our system.
