Added this unit to the downstairs foyer. The sonos system now fills the entire home or we can play different music in each zone

Worst Speaker System That I Have Ever Owned

Each time I attempt to use the system is a new adventure. Rarely will my phone locate some or all of the 4 speaker system. If you unplug and move a speaker, then you must attempt to re set it up and it loses the name you had given it. Sonos attempts to update each time I try and use and each time it wants to reset the router. Disappointed.
Pros: Superior Sound
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

All this is good for is watching movies where music quality isn't required. It is really poor compared with, say, a Klipsch System. It can not project the tonal qualities and range of a symphony or rock concert. Highs and lows are, obviously, indistinct.

Terrible app does not play music stored locally on device -

To begin, the speakers sound good, but not better than other good quality Bluetooth speakers. The more concerning problem is the Sonos App. Sonos has obviously not put much effort into making a reliable and usable app. The speakers only function with the app, so the fact that the app is terrible really affects the ability to use and enjoy the speakers. Further, due to problems with the app, Sonos chose to eliminate the ability to play local music stored on your android device, rather than develop a better version of the app and fix the problems. For me, removing an essential function is an inexcusable decision. If you are interested in buying the Sonos speakers to play music stored on your device, you should probably look at another brand. I bought two Sonos One SL speakers in January 2023. My reason for buying these speakers was to play the high quality digital music stored on my phone - I do not use streaming services. I used the speakers for about five months and now without the ability to play locally stored music they are useless to me. I ended up selling the speakers used. For me, I will never buy Sonos products any longer. First, the sound is not worth the premium pricing. Other Bluetooth speakers have just as good or better sound quality. Second, their inability to provide a properly functioning app to accompany the product is a deal breaker. Very disappointed with Sonos products and customer support.

I love my sonos, I can manage my sonos with my phone. It's a great product. Sounds absolutely amazing. I have upstairs downstairs and it's wonderful sound.
