Perfection in a small package

I have a pair and it fills the room as if the room has the greatest acoustics. On lower volume, the sounds are soothing and for party volume, the sounds emanating are beyond belief.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Free Control Options, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless

Terrific Sound Quality

I purchased these speakers after visiting a friend who has them installed. The Sonos 'one' with Alexa capability has phenomenal sound quality and can be set up anywhere in the room. I am not technically challenged but........I think Alexa gets a little moody. It can be very challenging to get her to respond, even to the most elementary questions. There are no connection issues.... I think that the integration with Alexa could use some work

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult with Alexa

Four and counting

I had a home office with a stereo system in it in a previous home. Working out of the house, this was important to me. All of my music is on iTunes - purchased, ripped CD's, etc., so playing out of iTunes was critical. I bought Sonos since I didn't want to rewire the new house, but I wanted MY music in my office. With the One SL, I am able to pair these speakers and play iTunes on my iPad and connect through the speakers via Airplay. I did a lot of homework before purchasing to ensure that these speakers would do what I wanted them to do. I'm super happy with what we got. While I don't sit and critically listen to music in my office (I have a separate stereo for that), the sound quality is better than good for background music, parties, or just general music throughout the house. So good that we bought a second set for our family room, and we are refinishing an exercise room in our basement which will be for pair number 3 in a few months. Perhaps an outdoor speaker is in the works too. I love the flexibility and the ability to play what I want where I want it. If I need different music in different rooms, I use the Sonos app or connect to a different device with iTunes (my phone). All in all, we couldn't be happier!!

Not what I thought Sonos could do!!

Advertised as universal speaker but must be used with other Sonos products for most applications.
Pros: Easy to Set Up
Cons: Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good tunes

I bought a pair for my TV room to build a surround system. When the pair is in the surround system they cannot be used via AirPlay. Please write an update to allow me to have the speakers in the surround system and use them over airplay.
