Surprising sound from a small speaker. Works great in smaller rooms, or perhaps as one of a stereo pair in a larger room). Will definitely buy another couple for other rooms in the house. Am not quite as confident in its longevity, since Sonos just recently threatened to brick some of our older Sonos products (they have backed off a bit though). But still a great product.
Pros: Big Sound for a little speaker, Compact, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More

love the product, do not like the restrictions in the apps.. soundcloud on my phone plays everything and sonos does not. very limited so i puchased sonostube from the play store to be able to easily stream what i want to hear.. not a type of music but exactly what i want to listen to. I do not want spotify or pay for anything else. maybe this will help you all, i hope

I won't buy Sonos again

I find that using Airplay from apple devices is useless, speaker crackle and sound horrible. There are issues just connecting via Spotify (or any app) that does not work with the Sonos app i.e. using Spotify our side of the Sonos app. About once a week I have to "find" a random speaker because the Spotify app can't find it. While not a huge issue is frustrating for a product I payed so much for. And I have 13 speakers (Several One's, Beam, Sub, Play:1). The biggest issue is that Sonos is stopping updates and fixes for older speakers. That one issue is causing me to find and replace Sonos period.

Cons: Airplay implementation sucks, Unreliable

Not bad for the size

Summary: Great for background music, not a party speaker. I got a pair of Sonos One SL speakers. The first speaker was easy to set up but the second one was really pain in the you know what to set up. I tried wifi set up, ethernet set up, lots of googling, after about 45 min I got both going and paired them in stereo. After the set up have not have any problems with connectivity. Was easy to connect Spotify on my phone and a separate Spotify account on my wife's phone. Also, easy to connect from my laptop. One thing you definitely need to do is set up Trueplay through Sonos app. That makes quite the difference in the sound, the sound fills up the room, it makes music more three dimensional. These speakers by them selves are great for background music, producing rich and clear sound. That works up to about the level where you can still converse in normal voice, anything above that the sound just falls flat and sound cheap and muddy (I'm not an audiophile). I assume that by adding a Sonos sub (quite expensive) would compensate the issue. Because I don't listen to loud music, and after problematic set up have not have any issues with connectivity, overall I'm still satisfied with these speakers.

Sonos makes great audio speakers

I've been using Sonos speakers for a couple of years now, and recently added the Beam and two One SLs to my Living Room. Everything was easy to set up. The surround speakers (One SLs) really add to watching TV and movies that broadcast in Dolby Digital. I enjoy creating my own Playlists and accessing my music from my own NAS drive. I wish, however, that Sonos would add the ability to sort through my Playlists, since, for some reason, I am accumulating duplicate songs, and if I could sort my music, I would be able to find them and remove them.

I have this in my living room and the sound is amazing! I have a normal sized house and I can still hear it in my master bedroom.
