I only listen to music by myself. most people don't appreciate melodic metal.

I started off with a single Sonos One SL at Christmas. I soon added a second and paired them for awesome stereo. I quickly realized that streaming different content to multiple rooms would be cool. I purchased two more recently and put one in our living room and one in the basement rec room. Everything works flawlessly. I am even streaming my iTunes library from my PC.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless

I love my sonos system

The sound quality of Sonos audio is absolutely impeccable! I first experienced them at a friends place and was immediately caught to the brand. I liked the fact that as we moved from room to room, the music literally followed us. Right now I am using 2 Sonos One SL's as a surround along with a Beam and Sub. I have a small to medium sized/column like living room area - they sound AMAZING! I love the subtle yet noticeable audio notes that the One SL's deliver in the surround mode. After my purchase and having experienced this sound production for not even up to a week, I have already wanted to get more speakers to put throughout my house (kitchen, home office, etc). They have pushed me to spend more time in my living area...simply laying on my couch and just listening to beautiful sound. Slight drawbacks for One SL: I don't like the fact that you can't stream music with straight up bluetooth, especially with One SL if you were to have and use it stand alone. I guess this is circumvented with air and google play as long as your One SL is paired with something like a One or Beam that allows for air and google play. The system as a whole: With the system as a whole, I have had some hiccups where when listening to a music service (i.e. spotifiy) and I turn on the TV it would cut out spotify and jump to the TV's audio. But in my mind, what If i just wanted to play a game(and audio wasn't required) and continue letting Spotify play. I believe Sonos has setting for this but I haven't quite figured it out 100% yet. I guess I can't have it all and technology will fail us. All in all, I love the product and would recommend! I look forward to more speakers and being able to have audio groups.

Great stand alone or as paired surround sound speaker

This was a great addition to my Sonos Beam soundbar to create a 5.0 surround setup in my home, as a mated pair with a 2nd One SL. Originally, I purchased a single One SL to be used as a stand alone speaker for listening to my music in my home gym. The sound quality was very good with more bass than I had expected. Setup was easy and with Airplay 2 I could play music to either room or unit (depending on how you set it up in the app). With that said, within a week I had purchased a 2nd One SL and added it into my Beam setup to create a 5.0 surround system in my house... Setup again was a breeze, moving my existing stand alone speaker into a home theater system was easily done through the app. The unit looks and feels high quality and has a nice weight to it.

Sound - Fantastic, How to navigate Sonos Not 100% Easy

I love being able to use Sonos for both RadioTune In for news in the morning (PBS) then I stream music on Spotify. I have music on my Apple Computer but I can't find a way to get it paired onto Sonos. There should be ways that Sonos can teach us how to coordinate all the music on Sonos. Maybe instruction emails, easy for somewhat technically challenged people like me. I was easily able to activate a new Sonos speaker though (so I'm not that bad!). I have been preoccupied with my move back to the US from Canada though. I brought my entire Sonos system here and even added another speaker in the master BR. The problem was losing my Apple iTunes when transitioning from Apple iTunes in Canada to the US. I had to download all the 17,000 songs then shut down my Canada iTunes then activate the US Apple iTunes. All the downloaded music is in my computer but I don't know how to get this music to play on my Sonos system. Got any ideas??

Cons: Difficult to Use
