When they work, they're fantastic

When everything is set up and working, the quality of sound is fantastic. But I have never been more frustrated setting something up in my life I don't think.. And Then I switched my Wifi Network Name & Password and had to go through the same frustration again.. If you don't mind spending the time and frustration getting them set up, buy Sonos. If you have no patience, I WOULD NOT recommend anything Sonos.

I got these speakers to allow my fiancé and I to hear music in every room while doing chores or having guests over. The speakers have extremely good quality and the set up connection it simple!

Great sound & form factor

I find the sound of my Sonos superior to my Bose Revolve+. Set up didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked. Occasionally I have connection issues that require a hard reboot. So, overall, a superior product at this price point with some glitches.
Pros: Expandable, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup

Fantastic System

This is the 6th play 1 speaker I have gotten and now have one in every room of my home. I also use the Sonos sound BEAM as my TV speaker as well as a music speaker. The sound is unbeatable, and very simple to connect. Having the ability to use different music sources in different rooms is perfect for our home.

Sonic Discovery

The Sonos app is stellar. Every day is a new musical discovery. The SL is fine sounding speaker for its size which can deliver rich bass. There's a Loudness setting which enhances the bass even further. I leave this option off because I feel it's a bit overwhelming for my personal taste. Then again I feel that current society is a bit sub-bass obsessed in its music. I plan on expanding my system to include a Play 5 and one or two more SLs. I wouldn't call myself an audiophile but I am a music industry pro. I can smell the whiff of cheap sound instantly. Sonos is not that. I would highly recommend this brand to friends and family.
