Sonos is second to none !

Given Sonos is a bit pricey but well worth it . I have a Sonos bean and two Sonos One SL speakers. Everyone that comes over to my house loves my set up! They system comes in handy when I throw parties as well. The noise quality is so clear and precise. I can't wait until I buy a sub.

Does just what I need

I usually play sound from a dedicated computer out through a digital device to an analog amplifier and from there to speakers. My amplifier required repair so I needed an alternative. The Sonos was a great choice. It sounds great and was easy to configure, and the software for iPhone and Mac is pretty easy to use. It is a smart speaker, so I don't need to stream from the computer; the Sonos can independently stream from TuneIn, Spotify, Pandora, Audible, and my Subsonic music collection (plus a bunch of other services I don't subscribe to). On the other hand I can still stream from iTunes and other sources on the computer if I want to, and I particularly appreciate that that connection is over WiFi, not Bluetooth which is far lower quality. There are some technical limitations (you can't load FLAC onto the device or play very high bitrate music files) but I don't mind them. It would be nice to be able to stream from YouTube free. But I have no particular complaints. My house is full of sound again and that's what matters.

Awesome speakers and music.

Single speakers is different rooms. Music is awesome. Had to change WIFI networks, and it was quite difficult.
Pros: Streams All My Music, and More
Cons: Difficult to Use

Good, not perfect

The sound is good with nice stereo using two speakers in the same room. Setup was easy and went smoothly. However, the speakers are not reliably detected by my Sonos system and they also are not reliable with Apple Airplay. I frequently need to go and unplug them and re-plug them in for getting them back into the system.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable
