Can't get my one and older speaker version to work together

There is always a problem I use my speakers, either they can't find internet, or just turns off, I bought one speaker so then bought another one a year later, but thee two are not comparable and I can get them both to work together they Sound weird. I would use more if they worked good, but I end up using my stereo more

Unreliable, loses connection frequently

Excellent sound quality and hardware quality. I am tech savvy with a reliable, fast, strong WiFi network. I have tried different frequencies, re-sets, etc. These speakers are unreliable. They drop offline and cut in and out frequently for no reason. I have no sources of WiFi interference in the home. A top quality wired hifi system with wireless input would be much more reliable with likely better sound quality. I will be returning all 6 speakers and sub. Great concept but the technology isn't quite good enough to be reliable.
Pros: Expandable, Superior Sound
Cons: Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great sound for a great price

Love being able to go into every room and have music playing. Easy to control volume for each room or mute if I need to. Sonos App is easy to use.

I currently have this in my office but I am expanding them throughout the house and with my TV audio and it couldn't be better. Easy to setup abs superior sound.

Really good sound and build quality. I ultimately returned mine because of the app that you need to use and feeling that it wasn't really optimized for Android. Decided I should just get the Nest Audio where it would be more seamless for me. Also, the speaker is pretty heavy but I don't personally mind heft when dealing with tech.
Pros: Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult Setup

Can't use Air Play 2 when set up for surround sound

Very disappointed that I can't play my music thru Apple Air Play 2 when speakers are set up for surround sound. Main reason I bought these was because My existing older Sonos speakers cannot play via Air Play 2 and was looking forward to being able to do this now with the purchase of these speakers. Why is this??? Sonos should address this. Getting tired of jumping through hoops just to play music from my I phone. Loosing confidence in this system.
