Great product but could have better iOS integration

The One SL is easy to set up and simple to use. It gives a full sound that can easily fill a small to medium room and I can't wait to get a second one to set up a stereo pair. It can also be used with the AppleTV through Airplay2 to add some dynamism to your TV experience. The only complaints I have are with the iOS application. The service integration is clunky and some, such as Audible, often struggles to connect. The other main gripe I have is with the controls. It often takes several presses of the volume button for the app to register and respond. Also not having the controls integrate with the music player and show up on the lock screen means you have to switch back to the app every time you want to do something. Not a major problem, but it's clunky for something that is supposed to be seamless.

Incredible sound from a small speaker

We started with one of these in the home office and have since added four more. This little speaker has an audio range that is unmatched in the world today. I was tired of tin can sound from a cheap Bluetooth speaker when I went looking for a high quality speaker for my office. One speaker sounds great but it sounds even better when you add a second speaker to make the stereo pair in one room.

It's so easy to just unplug the speakers and move to another room. Turns the room into a theatre immediately.

Garbage Network Connectivity.

I work in IT and this product is absolute garbage. You'll spend way more time on the phone trying to get it to work with a wireless network than you will listening to music, and if you ever do get it to work, it will only work for a week before you have to go through the setup again for no reason. I've had mine for a long time and it has never worked with WiFi, only Ethernet which kinda defeats the point of a wireless speaker. Additionally, both the S1 and S2 apps are TERRIBLE and slow. If you want to quickly open your phone and skip to the next song in a few seconds you are dreaming; expect to wait 5-10 seconds while the app reconnects to the speaker EVERY time you open it. 0/5 Do not buy.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought Playbar initially then decided to add 2 one SL's to build a surround system. Great sound, amazingly easy set-up! Best sound system but I ever made, Highly recommend!

The juice is worth the squeeze on this speaker. I got a pair and I like them so much want to get more Sonos products. The price points are high on other items, but this one is a great pick up.
