If you would’ve asked me three years ago I would’ve told you that I was hands-down a Dyson fan. I purchased this shark vacuum and as soon as it came in I put it to the test. I vacuum my floors with my Dyson and then I vacuum my floors with my shark. The shark picked up far more than then Dyson ever did! I will never go back to Dyson and I totally recommend shark products for this reason!

I received this as a Christmas gift after my bissell died. I have tile floors with the exception of three carpeted bedrooms. I feel it works very well on the carpets and fairly well on the tile. The suction is great, but you do have to clean the inside filter more often then I’d like to keep that suction up. It’s a little heavier than I’d like, but I think that’s from switching to a stick vacuum from standing. I do love the on off switch vs the button like stains have. It stores easily and has plenty of tools for everything I need to do.

I love this vacuum!

I love this vacuum! It has so much suction power and has two different settings for bare floor and carpet. I decided to get this when I saw how much the Dyson was and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this product.

Bad power head hose

I agree with the review from Shotgun: We have just found that the power head hose has cracked wide open--this is the second Shark we have bought, and the same thing happened to the first one. It is a weakness in design, and should be fixed. Unfortunately, this problem does not show up until well after the warranty period has expired. The only remedy is to buy a new power head, at a cost of $90 or so. I will now go and purchase some other product, rather than go through this again. This second Shark is about 6 months old, and it is shot already. Too bad; otherwise a good product.

Excitement to disappointment

I was so excited to get this. Lightweight, easy to use and able to clean steps. Well, disappointed for shag rug or carpet causes the red button to come so it takes me longer to vacuum. When using on steps, not a long enough neck for the attachment and I have to tilt the base to vacuum. Idk how long I’ll keep...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible vacuum, spits the dust and dirt out the back! Makes a bigger mess. I’ve tried to email, no luck. Disgusted!!! DONT BUY.
