[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! The suction on this vacuum is strong. I turned it on and the vacuum almost slipped out of my hand. I ran the vacuum on clean carpet and the canister filled up with dirt. I love this vacuum. I recommend this vacuum cleaner.

Good for pet hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shark is a corded stick vacuum with extra suction for pet hair. It's super lightweight, making it pretty easy to carry around the house. The actual vacuum is smaller, so I recommend it for touch-ups, rather than doing your whole house. My wood floors end up getting "doggie dust bunnies" around the edges and in the corners. This vacuum is perfect for a quick spin around the edges to make the floors look clean again in a hurry. The stick vacuums from Shark all suffer from the same issue....they won't stand up on their own. You either have to hang them up on a wall or disassemble them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have thought to myself that chords were a hassle, but after having battery operated for a while, it occurred to me that all the weight of the battery means they usually have smaller and weaker motors. No lack of power here because it is clear they put some serious power in their motor. Oh and the chord is so easy to manage.

Top Heavy and Unwieldy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this vacuum. I liked the sleek thin stick design. The vacuum itself works well but it is difficult to use and has some poor design features. First off 90% of the weight is in the handheld portion which makes it very difficult on your wrist. I found my wrist getting sore and tired very quickly. Additionally because the weight is up high on the handle there isn't a lot of weight on the brush head which made it difficult to steer. The vacuum has to be partially taken apart to store because it cannot stand on its own with all the weight at the top. Additionally it is difficult to empty the canister because the cord is attached to the same part so you have to wrap and manage the cord to take it all with you to the garbage can. Overall nice idea but poorly designed abd executed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lightweight Power Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Versatility, functionality, and maneuverability are wrapped into this powerful, lightweight corded stick vacuum! I always wondered why vacuuming was so labor intensive, especially with a stairway involved. However, to my surprise this seven pound power tool cleans the floating dog hair and bits of kibble precisely and perfectly! I like that I can take it apart and clean my drapes, stairs, and car seats with one section, and the floor with another. Shark's products are always user-friendly, cost-effective, and design excellent!

My RV vacuum. Been cleaning the country dirt

I bought the vacuum three years ago to be used in my 5th wheel, RV. We are way out in the country so I have to clean filters a bit more often, but gosh, this has been cleaning dirt, mud, debris from storms...everything! It is a darned wonderful vacuum. I came to the website to learn how to clean out some crusted on dirt from a big spill after a storm. Found the instructions to get me into the rollers and cleaned away. I am just so impressed with its suction, its durability, especially out here in God's country. Thank you for a very nice product. My RV stays clean when we are away and my little Rocket just keeps running and cleaning. I will absolutely buy another Shark vacuum and I have already recommended it to friends.

This is my second Shark and I am very disappointed. My 10+ yr old Shark Rotator does a better job than my the Shark Rocket. It has very little suction so I end up using my Shark Rotator. I purchased for the light weight and that is what it is. And I have not had it for a year.
