Smooth installation and super wireless connectivit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this product for a while to try out for my honest opinion, i had been lazy thinking installation might take few hours, but surprisingly when read all instructions, it’s simple enough for anyone without experience can do it.. Had to get camera battery fully charged before installing under license plate, screen is easy to attach on windshield rather than dashboard as per my suggestion, once screen is attached and camera installed on plate, it does it’s magic automatically and connects right away.. i had to adjust back camera few times to get perfect view i wanted when i backup car out of garage. This wireless backup camera is a blessing for cars without camera, wish i had found this earlier.. solar panel on camera should keep battery charged and run smoothly, for cars like mine kept in garage and weather related issues for not getting enough sun, there is USB port you can charge battery as needed.. Love Love this wireless backup camera.. Makes my car compete with latest models.. Definitely recommend

Simple, reliable, and surprisingly clear at night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Armor All solar backup camera for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. Setup was fast — no drilling, no wires. The camera clipped onto my license plate frame, and the screen mounted easily on the dash.
The image quality is sharper than I expected, especially at night. Even in low light, I can clearly see other cars and surroundings. The parking lines are helpful for tight spots, and I like that you can switch them off if needed.
It feels sturdy, doesn’t lag, and the solar charging really works — I haven’t had to mess with it since installing. The screen is just the right size: big enough to be useful, but not a distraction.
If you want a backup camera that’s wireless, works out of the box, and gives you peace of mind while reversing, this one does the job really well.

Back up Camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this backup camera because the idea of a solar-powered, wireless setup sounded super convenient, and to be fair, it started off great. Installation was very easy and straightforward, and I liked that I didn’t have to mess with complicated wiring or power sources. It connected quickly, and everything seemed to be working just fine for the first few days.
But then, the problems started. Even though the camera was getting plenty of sunlight, it just stopped working. No signal, no image, nothing. I made sure everything was properly connected and gave it some time, but it never came back on. The display unit that sticks inside the car was also a pain. It kept falling off, no matter how many times I tried to reattach it. It's definitely not something you want to be dealing with while driving.
On the plus side, it was just as easy to remove as it was to install, but unfortunately that’s because it stopped working so quickly. It had potential, but in my experience, it just wasn’t reliable. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Not the best option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an 05 Corolla that I connected this backup camera set up to. I was not impressed. It costs the same or more than a dash cam and just to use it for backing up? It does not have any recording capabilities and the display quality constantly changes between clear and semi grainy. The display also did not survive the summer heat here in AZ as it eventually just fell off my windshield. Definitely not a good option for extreme summer temperatures. The camera itself was fine at least but no use to me if the display can’t hold up. Will not continue to use this at least until the weather cools. Would not recommend for the most part unless you’re just really terrible at parallel parking and backing into spaces.

Perfect for my suv

I installed this on my mid-size suv and it works beautifully the display is super clear and setup was quick since it's solar powered no wiring hassles at all it makes backing out of tight spaces much safer this is highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This solar-powered backup camera with display is perfect for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. The installation is very simple and easy. The only con is that I have to purchase a shorter bracket because in our state, we can't hide the state or sticker on our plates. It came with a tape strip, but I don't want that on my vehicle. The display screen has clear picture quality, and the suction cup stays in place.
