Great for my 8 year old daughter

So far my daughter and I love the watch. Full of features and the thing I like the most about it is that I can track when my daughter leaves school and I can live track her on the bus which is great because her bus is super inconsistent and it eliminates me being late to her stop or standing there for 35 extra minutes when her bus is late. I wish she could text other than pre made messages and to other mobile users in addition to people who download the Garmin app but at least she can get ahold of the people who really matter. Watch is bulky even she has said it but I reminded her that it has to be bulk for the amount of things it does and she’s okay with it. All things considered I’m happy with the investment.

Great way to keep in touch

We purchased this for our son because we’re not quite ready to give him a cell phone yet. However we wanted a way to reach him. He had a different smart watch for about five years and it was really important to us that he was also able to track his activity and his steps. This watch gives parents the ability to track their kids location. My only complaint is that the wristband that came with. It was hard to change my son preferred a nylon wristband and Garmin didn’t make it easy to get this one off.

I liked the watch since it had almost all the features I needed, but unfortunately, it lacked phone call functionality for my child and me. As a result, we returned it and opted for an Apple SE watch instead.

We bought this for our 6 yo daughter. She’s going to summer camp which has many field trips. The location and timing of notifications are down to seconds. The moment we leave any boundary and we’re together we intermittently receive a notification that she has left the area!

As an everyday watch, the battery drained way too fast and my child isn't using anymore. Love the app, the chores features, the steps challenges, the games... great watch!! I love Garmin products. But until the battery last at least a week for a child - it isn't worth it. My child already lost interest in it under 4 weeks.

Great kids watch

Great features,. Great games for kids under 8 yrs old. Love the communication feature. Can not text but can record a short message.
Battery life is short does not last longer then about 2 days before you have to charge.

Great watch for a kid.

The watch is excellent for any parent who wants to let their kid outside near their home without worrying about where they are. I live on a military base which is safer than most neighborhoods today. So I can allow my kid to go and play and keep track of his location.
