Great Watch

This is a great watch. It has helped us with communicating while not getting a cellphone. I wish there was a ping/page button when my son doesnt notice the message sent. Very easy to use, the app is great too, battery life is good too. Overall, we are glad we purchased it and will purchase another in the future for our younger child.

Inconsistent

It’s an “eh” product. More than likely all software/LTE fixes but huge headache. The LTE coverage is poor and inaccurate. Delayed, undeliverable messages, poor locating and lots of “unable to locate” while in coverage. We went with Garmin purely for the gps capabilities and the assumption it would perform well because…well…it’s Garmin. However, the only thing consistent has been frustration and disappointment. Hopefully things get squared away because it has the potential to compete with the likes of Gizmo and Gab, it just seems rushed to market.

The Bounce provides certainty and security

I bought Bounces for my daughters three months ago and they are great tools for a parent to have. It allows me to exchange messages and know where they are at, at all times. All of this can be done with one device which keeps me from having to get them a cellphone; which I really don't want them to have right now.

Great features, but a few bugs

Bought two Bounce watches for my 8 year old twins. They LOVE the activity and step count features, the Adventures they can go on as a result of hitting their goals, as well as marking off their chores. There are potentially bugs in the software, as there are days the app syncs their activity minutes to match, when the watches read differently. One of the watches has also twice drained it's battery within a matter of hours and become very hot to the touch, but works correctly the majority of the time.

Really like this Device

Not a reliant form of communication in our area

Once we made the decision on how to move forward with a device for our 10-year-old, we were really excited about the Bounce! Seemed like the perfect fit for our Alaskan family. The first night he was away from home, I tried to send him multiple messages and they went unread. I confirmed the next day that he never received the messages. Only about 75% of messages go through, and of the ones that do go through, there is a significant delay, often making the messages no longer applicable by the time they are received. We plan to keep it because he likes it as a watch, but feeling really bummed that it is not a reliable way to be in touch with him and we will need to buy yet another device for him for summer communication.

We bought this watch to keep an eye on our 8 year old. For the most part it works well but there are glitches with the sync and software. At times it shows us that the watch left the house but yet it’s still on charger.
