I have had my Openrun Pro 2's for a couple of weeks now. I have used them for walking my beagle as well as 10+ mile runs and I really enjoy them. It was a whole different experience going from in-ear to open-ear headphones. The ability to hear everything around me was amazing and I cannot see going back. The sound quality is great for my music and I have taken a couple of calls with them as well and they are great. I would highly recommend.
I’m not a big fan of in-ear buds or ear covering headphones so I thought that I try the OpenRun Pro 2. It’s lightweight but the sound quality is not that great. Sorry.
I have mixed feelings about them. I am deaf in my right ear. It does allow some sound to reach me so that is good, however when running they sometimes sound “tinny” losing much of the bass, so I lose volume and sometimes can’t hear the music clearly. Plus since I run on the beach most mornings I can hear the waves of the ocean so it competes with the music. In quiet environments it is better
Bone conduction does not really happen. It is just a speaker positioned in a different place. Sounds quality significantly lower compared to AirPods. Sound volume not good if you are riding a bike. Microphone is bad if you need to use Siri or answer phone calls. I don’t recommend
This is my second set of Shokz and I couldn't be more pleased with them. I gave my first set to my wife when I received the new ones and she likes them as much as I did. The sound is great in the new ones as well as the fit. Thanks, Shokz!
