They are comfortable and seem to generate less wind noise than the open run pro 1 while cycling. The volume seems lower than the ORP1. Cycling at speeds greater than 20mph tends to drowned out the sound. They definitely have less vibration than the ORP1. Again not bad but not a big upgrade.
These are a great step up in sound quality from my Shokz OpenRun Pros. I can now listen to audio books in crowded places with confidence that I will not miss anything. There is also better all around sound quality while listening to music on the trails. The highs are less tinny and the lows are actually there. I have been told that the sound quality of my voice on calls has improved. That it is clearer and that there is less background noise. They are a little more snug but will probably loosen up a bit over time and they do bounce less on runs. Overall a worthwhile upgrade.
The Open Run Pro 2 are the best Shokz I have had yet and I have had 8 pairs so far. Finally a perfect combo of bone conduction and audio quality sound!
I commute run from my home to work about 4.5 miles. I like to listen to guided runs or podcasts en route. Unfortunately, these just don't have the volume to withstand the noise of traffic - and still, my phone thinks I have the volume too high. I think I do better with the adaptive noise cancellation of my AirPods Pro, so I'm going back to them. But when I can hear, it sounds good.
