I like the new Pro2 very much. They sound great and I much prefer the open ear configuration. I use them all day- every day for my work and personal phone and they perform well.
I've been using this brand since 2014 with the Aftershokz Bluez2, and just about every update version since. They keep getting better and better. Particularly as a road cyclist I find these are perfect to listen to music while still maintaining awareness of my surroundings. This increases safety which is a must.
OpenRun Pro 2 Changes - All Great Except New Charger

Many of the changes to the OpenRun Pro 2 from the OpenRun Pro have been very positive. For instance the audio quality is s marked improvement and the noise reduction for phone class works great. However, the new USBC charging port silicon cover is difficult to use and I wish Shokz had kept their original charger.
The sound quality of these are phenomenal. Sometimes I can’t tell if the sound is coming directly from my phone or the headset. I find the controls to be a little cumbersome however, this may be because I was very used to my older shokz headset. The battery life is double what I am used to and this is a plus. The headset is extremely comfortable and sometimes I don’t even realize I am wearing it
To be sure, Shokz were developed and engineered for the hearing. I have single-sided deafness (SSD).
I have tried several brands of bone conducting headphones. With Shokz I began with a pair of OpenRun, then OpenRun Pro and now OpenRun Pro 2. Shokz have literally been a game changer for me. I am now able to hear music in stereo. I can connect to my TV and hear the dialogue.
The new Pro 2s have raised the bar for bone conducting headphones. Combined with the Shokz app, you can adjust the sound to your liking. Again, Shokz may not have been developed for SSD or hard of hearing. However, the possibilities Shokz bring to this community cannot be overstated.
