Great alternative to earbuds

The OpenRun Pro2 Mini is a significant upgrade from its predecessor. I previously purchased the standard OpenRun and found it to be too large and uncomfortable. However, the Mini version offers a much better fit for smaller heads.
Pros:
- Perfect Fit: The Mini's size is ideal for my relatively small head, and the sound quality is excellent. It doesn't feel like anything is blocking my ears, making it a more comfortable listening experience.
- Superior Noise Cancellation: During calls, I experienced no background noise or voice drops, even while walking on a busy street. This is a major improvement over other earbuds I've used.
- Open-Ear Design: The open-ear bone conduction technology allows me to stay aware of my surroundings while still enjoying clear audio. It's like listening through a speakerphone.
- Lightweight and Stylish: The headphones are incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear, even for extended periods. They can easily be hung around the neck when not in use.

Major Improvement from the OpenRun Pro

This is a major improvement from the OpenRun Pro. The sound quality is better as well as the volume has improved. I will say the app helps with clarity and volume when listening to different types of media. The volume is still not as loud as the aeropex so that would be one of my cons. It is much more flexible, but feels a little bigger than the old one. I am between the smaller and larger size so it would be great to have a medium. The blue tooth connection is an improvement as well. I am not very sure the purpose of the magnetic connection especially when it pulls the ear piece together and with the previous models if the ear piece hit too hard it would break them and cause rattling. The buttons are perfect and glad they did not get rid of the volume control and other controls

Disappointing

Great in a quiet atmosphere but in a louder environment such as a gym, walking outside near a busy street, etc it’s really hard to hear and if you max out the volume the sound is not that good. Love the design but poor sound quality. Sadly I returned them.

I miss the previous design

I had to purchase new Shokz because I lost mine. I miss several features that were on my old Shokz. 1. The voice telling me that I'm connected 2. The voice telling me goodbye and I'm disconnected ( now the chime is just different from on or off - I haven't quite figured out which is which) 3. The old charging cable. I have had 3 old Shinzo and had charging cables in several locations - so easy just to connect the magnet - now cumbersome by opening the charging port cover 4. Sound quality is not quite as good
I have had Shokz for 7 years and wear everyday for walking, running, housework, gardening - and more - but I may try and find an older version if I can

My Second Shokz Purchase - I’d Do It Again

Pleased with my OPENRUN PRO 2 purchase. I have been using my original OPENRUN Pro headset for teaching my Zoom Tai Chi classes for more than 2 years, and I decided to try this new iteration for reduced vibration and increased battery life. I’m happy!

With the new head set

With the new head set it has couple of nice upgrades with sound and connecting to multiple devices. The range is ok depending on what you are around. With the loudness does not work as good when I have to wear ear plugs, can barely hear the sound. With other noises around it makes it hard to hear it as well. To have the ability to use the same charge cord is a nice feature. I am still pondering if it was a better purchase for the price or just stick with the older model.

Perfect for someone

The sound quality of the Pro2 is fantastic! If I didn’t do yard work with loud motors or if my job was a quiet job these would be perfect. I did love them for working out. As everyone says, I am still able to hear my surroundings with these headphones. Lying down with them is a little cumbersome. Since the wire sticks out right at the back of your head you have to angle it weird to make it work, but it is possible. Overall, great headphones. Just not for me. Trying the openfit, which I receive in 3 days! I’m pumped, hoping they sound just as good and can use them in all the applications I need.
