it won't work out of the box

Out of the box, it won't produce power at any of the outlets. All the suggestions in the booklet don't make the unit work. I called the 800 number and all they did was take my information--saying someone would call me back between 9-5 Monday -- Friday
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Started Right Up!

Worked great both on gas and LPG right out of the box on the pull start. I ran a small space heater as a load for 5-8 minutes. I am now charging the battery as it was not charged.

Excellent Generator --Just what we needed

After looking and comparing different generators, we chose the WGen9500DF which best meets our needs. We received the generator and my husband had it up and running in 1/2 hour. The assembly was easy. Great construction fit & finish. We tested with propane first and had no problems. Easy to read manual. We will definitely will have this generator for years to come.

Just purchased to be used as whole home backup. Started up on the third crank with gas. Will follow up with additional review once tested on a heavy load and with propane.
