Just bought it ran good on LP. Packaging doesn’t survive truck rides (delivery) and I wish the automatic auxiliary power switch had a higher rating

Bang for Buck

Last winter, here in Texas, we experienced many long periods of power outages.
There was not enough power to go around. Now that we have open borders and a flood of folks escaping from other states, it will only get worse. We decided on a backup generator to run our critical circuits in the event of the next inevitable outage. This model, from this company, is the best bang for buck out there.

I just received my WGen9500DF this week and have been testing it out. It powers everything with ease and was not as loud as I expected! During my research before I bought this generator pretty much the only complaint I found that people had was how loud it was. To my surprise it was a lot quieter than I expected and don't think the noise level is unreasonable at all. Overall very happy with the generator!

After comparing several generators from different manufactures, I decided to go with Westinghouse 9500DF. The features in this generator cannot be beat. I mean remote and/or push button start, plus the option to use gasoline or propane cylinder. We just purchased this - so cannot comment on the durability/reliability. I was expecting a louder noise for this high wattage generator but it was bearable and not loud (even with the load). Central AC (3.5 tonne) worked fine during the first test.
