Awful packaging

I received the 9500DF yesterday badly damaged, no owners manual/quick start guide. The packaging cardboard was underweight and there was NO molded styrofoam to protect vital generator components. The box was barely hanging on to the generator with one strap; not attached to a pallet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our power was out for 9 days. Never again. This unit has everything I wanted. Easy to setup, run, and take care of. Just check out all of the features on it. I did my research, and for the price, his generator satisfied all my needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a couple weeks ago. Works as advertised; great features. Like other reviewers say, it is loud. If out in the country or not putting it beside neighbor's house, etc., not an issue, but think about being courteous. Sound diminishes as the square of the distance, so moving it an extra 20 feet away from house can make a significant difference.

This generator has supports two fuel types and has plenty of power output. It also looks fantastic! Wheels are really nice too.

Great Generator

I bought this a month ago and could not happier. After the most simple assembly we put the oil in and filled with fuel and it started right up with just a push of a button. We ran it for awhile as per the instructions and then added load to it. I must say it did not skip a beat. I feel so much better now that I bought this generator and I am so much more prepared. Thank you Westinghouse for a great product.
