EXCELLENT GENERATOR

I bought this last month for back up power during power outages from storms and tornados. We lose power from time to time and when it last for hours, we could lose our refrigerator and freezer food, also sitting in the dark is not fun. This unit puts out a lot of wattage and the dual fuel is a plus, I highly recommend this unit, Thanks M

I have been looking for an upgrade generator for many months. One that would handle a total power loss to keep major electrical needs going for several days if needed. I had reviewed several brands and even selected one to order. Then I discovered this Westinghouse 9500 DF. I am very familiar with the Westinghouse name but was surprised that they sold generators. After reviewing it and comparing with the brand I was about to order I decided this was the one for me. It met all my requirements with a better price.
It took almost a month to get here. But it was very easy to put together and when ready to start, to my amazement it did so immediately. Push the button on it and it started. Use the remote and it started. Forget the rope, not totally but there just in case. If the battery does die, pull the rope and start it, hook up the built in battery charger and back to buttons.
I recommend it.

This is my first purchase of a generator. I am thrilled. The set up process was clear and easy. The generator is solid, love the fold down handle. It is very sturdy, well marked features and very helpful manual. I could not be more pleased or confident with this purchase.
