Great Dual Fuel Generator

This is an excellent generator with a lot of great features. The ability to run off gasoline or propane is great and one of the main reasons I purchased this generator. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable generator with dual fuel options. I also love the remote start feature and the option for 30 or 50 amp connections.

I bought this generator only couple of weeks ago after extended search and checking, reading many reviews . Wgen9500DF always come out on the top or close to it. Unpacking and assembly was a snap. Oil included and the battery was charged. Electric start at first time did required the setting of the choke (The Quick Start Guide didn't ask for it) but then started right away. Load testing at ~2kW went fine, the engine idled and rev up nicely as the load came on line and cycled. Since the generator just a fairly expensive insurance policy against outages the real value of it I'll learn later, preferably much later. Until that I cannot judge reliability or peak-load performance. The generator has a good array of outlets and safety features. I like the digital display however a watts readout function would be useful. I'm not sure the real life value of a remote starter since you have to turn on the fuel valve somehow, but nice to have one. Overall I'm very satisfied for now and hope it will stay that way.

Best power rating on propane fuel that I could fin

Connected to home propane tank with enough power to run entire home during power outage. Electric hook up thru transfer switch. No need to store gasoline but has that option. Best of everything

Purchased this unit to power my needs during outages. Unit looked great right out of the box. Quality components. Only problem is the bottle of "westinghouse" oil they send doesn't fill the sump all the way...only enough oil to get to the LOW mark.
I would recommend this to a friend!
