Great Generator

This generator replaced an old Briggs & Stratton 5k generator that died after Hurricane Sally. Compared to the old generator, the Westinghouse is quieter, easier to start, and much more powerful. Assembly is simple and it is relatively easy to move around, despite its weight. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Just got the generator and I think it will do everything I need when we lose power. Have lost power already twice in the last month. Getting ready for hurricane season.

I was impressed with the fit and finish of this generator. It was also easy to get set up, understand and work the control panel, and switch between gas and propane. It worked without issue out of the box. The push button start is a very convenient feature I didn't think I was going to care about. Push it for a couple seconds and the generator will attempt to start on it's own; up to 3 times if I'm correct. It also has pull start to manually crank the engine. I was disappointed to find this model doesn't have an idle down/"economy" mode. Most, if not all other brands of generators in this class have this low idle feature.
