Well Built, Powerful, Lot's of Features !!

I bought this generator to power my entire house in the event of a prolonged power outage. It was packaged very well with easy to follow instructions on setup and operation. It comes with oil (you have to add prier to starting) and a funnel for easy filling. I'm running mine on propane and after connecting the propane tank it started right up. I love the remote. Just push the button and it starts. I have my house circuit panel wired with a generator inlet. In testing it, I cut the main breaker to the power grid, used a 50 amp extension cord connecting to the circuit panel inlet. I turned on my A/C, electric stove, microwave, TV and all my lights and the WGen9500DF didn't miss a beat. This is the first generator I have owned and it is a little noisier than I expected. I have it in my attached garage with the exhaust safely vented outside but when I'm in the house I can hardly hear it. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and can't wait for the next power outage :-).

Great Generator

This may get 5 stars, but I haven’t had to use it for my house backup yet. I like the fact that I could connect it to LP so that I can store it without having to put gasoline in it yet. I love the remote & electric start. This generator will cover all my needs for my home. I live in S. Fl. so my primary use is for my home backup during hurricane season. Even when we don’t get a direct hit, we usually lose power because the wind and trees around all the power lines serving our community. I have watched many videos and read many reviews before settling on this generator. It seems to be a solid unit.

Easy to order and received all ordered items

The item we ordered was matched to the research done by myself. All support items arrived prior to scheduled date of delivery. The "Only" issue was the having to track down the local delivery company from the LTL carrier. 48 hours later and I had to pickup at their dock. No fork truck marks, open to check condition, and now resides "AT the House".

Great generator

I bought this did the minor assembly added oil and gas it fired right up. I tested it it worked great now I should have energy independence if the power goes out. I love all the connections and ease of use

Worth the wait!

We waited for months for this 9500DF to hit the market again. Right out of the box I added oil, plugged in the battery charger for 5 minutes uni the led became Green, hooked up my propane tank and the generator fired right up!
I about a week we will have our electrician wire in our transfer switch and put her to the test.
Unit is heavy and requires 2 people to load and unload safely.
Also output will be reduced approximately 3.5% for every 1,000’ above sea level. So make sure select the correct size for your needs.
