I’ve had many generators over the years so when shopping for a new one I read many reviews and the generator that always came on top was the Westinghouse WGen9500DF, Not a brand that entered my mind at first , but being in my 60s I remember the Brand Westinghouse as a leader on all electric, so I purchased, for the all the features it has the price was extremely good. I received on Feb 12 2025 read the manual, pushed the start button and to my relief it “ purred like a kitten” runs steady and great to power my whole house through my transfer switch . If your looking for a well built, user friendly, and reliable generator I highly recommend this generator

First generator - looks nice and easy

Never had a generator before. This one was easy to set up and easy to move around. Instructions are easy to follow. I feel like we picked a winner!

Great generator for the money

Bought it as a backup generator for the house, very easy to start and convenient to use. The remote control is useful when you want to start/stop it from the house.
It provides 50A that enough to run the AC if outrage happens in August

Solid generator with lots of features

This is a solid piece of equipment that seems to be build to last for years. Assembly was very easy and the generator was ready for operation in minutes. The dual fuel option is great as it gives you power options. Power/remote start will be key when getting out to the generator will be tough in bad weather. There are plenty of connection options and they are well laid out so many can be used at once. Plus it is a great looking piece of equipment according to my wife!

Easy to Use Generator that Does it All

I bought this generator as a backup for my appliances and router due to the frequent power outages that I get in my neighborhood. As a new generator user, I found the setup easy to use and the power more than sufficient to run my fridge, router, and just about everything else on the 1st floor of my house - with power to spare. I would definitely recommend it.

Great and easy start up!

This generator was recommended to us, we returned another one we bought for this one. Glad we did, very easy set up and great start up. Added bonus with the remote start, this is wonderful for those who have a hard time starting a generator. Started right up on the first try!!!
