Dual Fuel Back Up Generator

We needed a replacement generator that provided more watts than what we had with our 15 year old one. Purchased the WGen9500DF so that we had the option of using propane or gas and could use a 50 amp cord to a transfer switch. Easy instructions to follow for assembly. Included everything you need - tools, oil, propane hose and battery charge cord. Unit is convenient to use with included remote or start button on front panel. Started with no problem on propane or gas and runs smooth. Changed the oil after running engine break-in period. Will be nice to be able to use the electric start feature. Looking forward to many years of use with this new generator.
A couple things to note with the instructions:
1) At least twice in the instructions, "ECO MODE" is referred to. This model does NOT have "ECO MODE" and referring to it in the manual will probably confuse more than a few users.
2) The instructions and diagrams for draining the Carburetor for storage shows that there is a drain hole with a hose attached at the bottom of the carburetor. While that would be great and is actually on my iGen2200 inverter, it is NOT on this model. Only a screw that can be removed to drain the carburetor. Make sure you have a funnel under it to direct the gas to a proper container, otherwise it will be on the unit and the ground.

Great Generator

Remove generator from box installed wheels and mounting build with oil hooked up propane tank start right up first try running excellent not too noisy and definitely love the new dual fuel system plus remote start is a great option
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does everything we need it to do

Reliable. It had the power we needed to get us through about 12 hours of no power. I've also used it for a few projects around the property where we don't have electricity. It's a heavy generator, but I can still manage to get it to where I need it.
