Powerful Generator

We have tested this generator several times and it has run wonderfully every time using both gasoline and propane. It is very robust and powerful. Starts quickly and includes an excellent user manual. Labeling on the unit itself could be improved slightly. I put my own label on the small silver gasoline switch that is located on the side and not included with the operating panel. I also labeled the propane inlet port. A wattage meter is desperately needed to determine load. It does have a voltage meter, but wattage would be so much better.

Black outs are hard with a septic pump! Problem solved. Tied right into my home propane line from big tanks.

We bought this since we live on the hurricane alley that is the Gulf Coast of Mexico. We did a trial run the other day and it started up great!!

Very Versatile

Just got the 9500DF this week. So easy to set up and instruction are easy to read and on target. Self charging battery (when unit is running) along with a trickle charger are nice features I did not expect but are included with this model. Unit started right up and runs quieter than the generators my neighbors have. The fold away handle makes the unit relatively easy to maneuver to where you want it. Will be able to power my entire house with this unit.

We just had our generator delivered today, the day hurricane Laura hit! We are so pleased to have it during the storm. The most important feature to us is that it runs on gasoline and also on propane. When we need to use a generator, we have other issues so it will be nice to have an option of 2 different fuels.

I bought it two weeks ago, happy I did. love the key fob remote start. Dual fuel was the main reason I purchased it. Glad I did.

Easy to set up

Setup was very easy. In particular, the remote pairing (which is normally a nightmare) was really clean and easy. The unit was bought online and some of these comments are probably online-specific.
My unit (and it may not be true of everyone's) shipped with the battery hooked up, so the "Connecting the Battery" steps on page 12 were not necessary. I needed to charge the battery on receipt, which was easy enough. Note that the instructions for charging in the manual are on page 29 (not 30 as it says in the Table of Contents).
