Great generator to power my house

I bought this to connect to a transfer switch and power my house during outages. Generator works great and I love the dual fuel and remote start features. So glad I made this purchase!

A lot for the money

I bought this a week ago. I Thought it would have to be returned. After putting wheels on , oil , gas , tried to start it several times and would not start. I did all the steps and nothing. Tried to take out spark plugs as recommended it would not come out. But that was due to the cheap nothing tool that came with it. Used a craftsman spark plug wrench came right put back in started right up. Run great. I think it will be a good purchase. Haven’t put load on it yet will do another review after I have it connected to the house. In the process of installing a soft start my home ac. It should run the whole house. I did try propane also ran smoother then gas.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Quality Generator

The dual fuel feature generator is very attractive living in Florida. Options are important during power outages when gasoline may not be available at gas stations.
The generator comes with a battery charger which I connected to power after installing the wheels, The charger shows a red light during the charging operation and it turns green when the battery is fully charged. My remote was already paired, but the manual provides instruction for pairing the unit with the included remote.
Not as noisy as I had expected for the amount of power it produces.
Everything is working as expected, and I have noticed that the engine runs very smoothly, even during this initial break-in period - as I'm getting it ready for its first use.
Overall, the Westinghouse WGen9500DF impresses with the quality solid-build and I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I was happy to order this generator from a Canadian Company. I was hoping to find one totally made in North America but that is hard to find.
It arrived well packaged and on time. It was easy to assemble with the tool provided. The dual gas feature is super, Wery easy to start. The only donwside is that I found it a little bit noisy. It is now connected to my Hydro panel and tested. Works nicely.

Great Generator So far!

I don't have a lot of hours on this generator--I have just tested it and used it minimally for the break in process. It appears to be well built and easy to start--with both the electric and pull cord. It is noisy as expected, but not as bad as others I've seen that were smaller.
