A great powerhouse to power my whole house

I bought this generator after our recent power outage. We had a small generator that would just run the refrigerator with an extension cord. Since we have been in the house, these power outages have been happening more and more. So we decided to invest in either a whole house generator or a portable large generator. This generator made more sense for us because of its portability. Plus, the fact that it is dual fuel and can possibly be upgraded to natural gas in the future, is a great value. The reviews for this generator were amazing. So we decided to purchase it. I unboxed the generator and found that it is very good quality and has rubber tires and ball bearing assisted axles. The generator runs great, sounds great and will power everything I need including my well pump at my house. Of course, I'm still not able to turn everything on all at once, but if I'm smart about it I can run everything when needed during these uncertain power outages. I'm very happy with this product and I have recommended it to several friends so far. A couple of which are interested in seeing how I was able to run an extra outlet into my house to power my whole house with just a standard RV 50 amp plug.

UPDATE: Review now 4 Stars. While waiting a week for a customer service response, I began troubleshooting. Fuel in fuel lines. Check. Petcock. Check. Fuel in Carb bowl. Check. AutoChoke. Properly functioning. Took off air cleaners and added squirted in starter fluid. Coughed. Two more times and it started on gas. Still start on propane. Check.
As silly as this exercise was it SHOULD HAVE BEEN LISTED IN THE TROUBLESHOOTING section of the manual. The reply I received from customer service a week later, didn't mention this simple procedure either. as many people that are EXPERIENCING THIS SAME ISSUE they should address this. Hope this helps someone.
WOULD BUY AGAIN. Use non-ethanol fuel, use an additive, and start 1x a month. You should have a great generator. HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.

Arrived today. Will not start or operate on gasoline. Started right up with propane. Sent immediate email to Westinghouse support. Waiting for a reply. Will update this review as they respond. Delivery was week late after being canceled several times. Box was tore up but generator looked undamaged. Not as heavy as other reviews seemed to indicate but it is too heavy for one person to lift. Moves fine with wheels though. Many other reviews mention my same problem, but none appear to have been updated with what happened. One did say another generator was sent with opposite problem… will update.

Really Nice Generator

I bought this as a backup power source but have used it for small projects around the farm and so far everything has been great. Push button and key fob start is a really nice feature. Dual fuel is also really convenient. I would definitely recommend.
