All set uo for the bomb cyclone that's coming!

I bought this a few months ago in anticipation of an upcoming power outage and with the bomb cyclone headed our way with record low temperatures and wind chills, I feel super confident that we will stay warm with out Westinghouse generator and the transfer switch I had installed on the house a couple of years ago. I hope we don't need to use it but I have it in case we do. And I had a different generator that I got rid of and replaced it with this one because it has a push to start and dual fuel.

Only used twise and now it wont start

Used my 9500DF twice. The last successful test was a month ago. We are expecting a hard freeze tonight. It won't start this morning. On the phone Customer service is impossible just recording. takes a very long time. I am still going through the motion to get help.

I had trouble getting power on the outlets (unit started fine). Put in a ticket and got a response from tech support. They sent me a new AVR. As I was swapping out the old one, I noticed one of the wires was not connected to anything (red wire). I guess it was knocked loose somewhere along the way. I reconnected it, fired up the generator and now it appears to work fine. I'll give it 4 stars now since I don't have any data on reliability.

Very easy to put together out of the box. Liked it from the start, didn't come with enough oil but, fortunately had some in the garage. Took several times to get started but, did finally get cranked up and ran like a champ. Looking forward not forward to use it. Overall I think this is going to be a great purchase.
