BEST GENERATOR ON THE MARKET

I REVIEWED EVERY DF GENERATOR CURRENTLY ON THE MAKET AND I FEEL THAT THE WGEN9500DF IS BY FAR THE BEST. NOT ONLY WILL IT RUN MY ENTIRE HOME IT ADAPTS VERY WELL TO MY TRANSFER SWITCH. STARTED UP ON THE FIRST TRY AND RAN GREAT--ON TOP OF THIS IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!

Dual fuel and electric start

Generator arrived in good condition, was easy to install the wheels, and place the battery on charge. The supplied oil and funnel completed the prestart checklist, starting is easy with the remote. I ran the generator unloaded to break in the engine the after installing a proper disconnect and receptacle generator was loaded. This is not the excessively loud, however it does make noise, as I live out of town it was not a real concern to me. For the price this is a good unit with enough power for most items, the ability to run on propane was important to me as you can store it almost forever. The unit can run on gas however gas has a limited shelf life.

Runs great

Generator was delivered damaged on top of bottom Of frame shifting everything inside the frame crooked. Box was already open coming off the truck. There are several parts connected to the frame. Starter light doesnt stay on causing unit to shut off and takes 3 times of restarting to stay running. Once running it does an excellent job.

Easy set up and quick staart

I'm planning on using this in power outages during the winter and at a remote building during the rest of the year. The unit had a very easy set up. Lift and block the ends up before attaching legs the same for the wheels. It was as easy as it comes. Because I didn't have any non-ethanol gas on hand I decided to try it on a propane tank. Propane hook up is very easy. Make sure to not forget to plug the battery up as I did...lol. plugged it up tested charged. Followed instructions to start the generator with the remote and 2 seconds on the remote start and it was purring like a kitten. It fired up quicker than I believe any other engine ive had before. I haven't put a big load on it yet but it is impressive so far. Keep in mind this unit rolls easy but it is very heavy. Not something you would want to roll to your deer stand.k
I am curious as to why the supplied 1.16 Quart of motor oil that is supposedly more than enough did not even get the oil on the stick.

I bought this for my elderly father in case of power outages. The best thing about this is he can easily start it with a remote vs having to pull start it.
