Review of Westinghouse WGen9500DF

Purchased this WGen9500DF as backup to future home power outages. I considered it because of gasoline/propane power and 12,500 watt load capability.
Remote START/SHUTDOWN was a valuable add-on but the electric start and corded start were what I was using for my pervious generators.
The 6.6 gallon fuel tank or propane cylinder capacity means I am flexible to available fueling sources. The noise level the WGen9500DF produces
is TOLERABLE and since is it is run just outside the house I would prefer hearing the drone of the engine.

Operation comments:
Fuel is either 10% alcohol 87octane or alcohol-free 90octane regular gasolines VERY IMPORTANT! The 11oz oil capacity is a plus SAE10W-30 regular oil or
SAE10W-30 synthetic oil is a good range. I will use SAE10W-30 Synthetic for the life of this generator. The WGen9500DF has started in single digit to over
80 degree weather for me. I like the automatic start circuit RESTARTS several times until the engine runs. I use the 50amp plug-in and this is GREAT.

GREAT LITTLE MACHINE

I needed this machine for the next time power goes out to run our well system. I had a plug box installed on the outside of the building which is run into my main breaker box. This generator was very easy to assemble and started right up out of the box. The remote control feature and the included battery charger was a definite selling point for me. All other generators this was an additional cost, It handles what we need very well.

Great Machine

I bought this to be ready for the next time we loose power. Had an outside box put in to hook directly into main breaker box. With cable it handles the water well fine. Easy assembling and easy start. What else could you ask for??

I JUST RECEIVED MY GENERATOR IN PREPARATION OF THE 2022 HURRICANE SEASON. I WENT WITH THE WESTINGHOUSE 9500DF GENERATOR. HAVEN'T USED IT YET AND HOPE I DONT NEED IT BUT ACCORDING TO THE REVIEWS IT IS A SOLID PORTABLE GENERATOR.
