Runs on propane and gas, has an electric starter. Smaller than the previous ones I've had.

I was in need of a newer generator at purchased this from a local warehouse. I can’t believe all of the features dual fuel,electric and remote start. Impressive so far but time will tell.

Worked out of the box!

It worked right out of the box and the instructions were amazing. At first I couldn't get the electric start to work, but I was missing the battery quick disconnect (both in the manual and on the generator). This was totally my fault. Time will tell how it works during an outage, but for now, I'm loving the features.

I just bought this generator after trying to decide between this one and the DuroMax XP12000EH. I eventually made the choice on the Westinghouse because I know two people that own them. They haven't had any issues with theirs yet. I haven't hooked mine to the house but did start it up and tried some power tools on it. It started right up and it works. It is not as loud as I thought it would be. My older and a lot smaller generator is actually louder than this one. So far I'm happy with the purchase.

Just bought this and was easily able to assemble the wheels and feet. Just followed the directions, filled up the oil reservoir, attached the propane tank, connected the battery and clicked the remote start and away it went. I was worried that my wife would have trouble moving it around but no worries! Now...hopefully we will not need it!
