After Storm

We purchased this generator after a freak snowstorm in April left us without power for several days. We'd been considering a generator for several years and after alot of research, we chose this one. It was delivered via common carrier on a pallet. We got it out of the box and followed the directions. It was very easy to assemble and it started right up off a propane tank. I'm very pleased with our purchase.

Great generator and customer service very helpful

Purchased the generator and test ran it without issue. Two months later needed it for a prolonged electrical outage and it wouldn’t start. The start switch had failed and no power was going to the unit from the battery. I spoke with an excellent customer service rep who accurately diagnosed the issue and sent the correct replacement part. The swap out was easy and the unit has worked flawlessly since. I would have given this a 4.5 for the failure, but only whole numbers were allowed. Given the excellent response by the customer service agent, I gave the product a 5 instead of a 4 as I didn’t feel a defective part should tarnish an otherwise great product. Excellent save by the Westinghouse customer service rep!

Unboxed, assembled today and ran the unit with both fuels. Started on 1st turnover. Get off the fence this unit is the one to have.
Contacted customer service for information on the unit b4 I received the unit and they exceeded my expectations by offering advice to keep that warranty safe.
